Oil Pollution Act of 1990

In 1990, the Oil Pollution Act was adopted providing guidelines for handling inland and oceanic emergencies. Haz-Mat Response, Inc. crews have been trained and certified to handle these situations and the special challenges they present. Haz-Mat Response, Inc. prides itself on having five site safety officers who have completed the TEEX Freshwater Oil Spill Course. Crewmembers receive annual PREP training and on the job experience.
